Congratulations, Erika!

Erika recently graduated from the Certified Hospitality Personnel program at Lokken College, demonstrating exceptional dedication by achieving perfect attendance and successfully earning her emerit Front Desk Agent certification.

During her program, Erika identified her employment goal, created an action plan to achieve that goal, and crafted an eye-catching resume and cover letter to separate her from other applicants during her employment search. She also attended daily Career Path Management presentations to improve her employable skills, such as: Time Management, Stress Management, Conflict Resolution, Communication, and many more.

The Certified Hospitality Personnel program includes career development curriculum, academic preparation to write the CAEC tests, and industry specific training. This includes emerit certifications including Front Desk Agent, Housekeeping Room Attendance, and Line Cook, as well as Food Safety, ProServe, and First Aid for Food and Beverage Server, and certifications for Retail. These certifications build knowledge of industry best practices and National Occupational Standards to give learners an edge when entering the workforce.
