Building Skills and Confidence

Education can open doors, but taking the first step is what makes progress possible. For Evenezer, joining Lokken College was an opportunity to gain valuable skills, strengthen his confidence, and prepare for the future.

Evenezer successfully completed the Certified Industrial Personnel (CIP) program, passing all curriculum requirements. Throughout his training, he developed skills that support both workplace success and personal growth. Through Career Path Management, learners build skills such as Communication, Focus, and Time Management. Computer Training helps learners develop the digital skills needed to adapt to today’s workplace, while Career Development provides practical training in resumes, cover letters, job searching, and interview preparation. His Industry Specific Skills training also gave him the opportunity to complete the industrial safety courses included in the CIP program.

Reflecting on his experience, Evenezer shared:

“I have come to realize that education is a necessity, not just an option. My time at Lokken College has helped me develop the ability to focus for long hours and improve my communication skills. Furthermore, the knowledge I gained from the courses I studied has significantly boosted my self-confidence.”

Evenezer’s experience shows how training can help learners build skills and confidence they can carry into their next steps. His achievement is a reminder that investing in yourself can be an important step toward a new future.
