Confidence Built Through Training
Tsinat has successfully graduated from the Certified Hospitality Personnel (CHP) program at Lokken College. She demonstrated exceptional commitment to her training by maintaining perfect attendance throughout the program.
Throughout her training, Tsinat strengthened the skills needed to succeed in a hospitality workplace. Academic Upgrading helped her build a stronger foundation for learning and employment, while Career Path Management gave her opportunities to develop Communication and Intrapersonal Management skills. Her Industry Specific Skills training added practical knowledge related to her hospitality career, helping her build the confidence, communication skills, and work ethic she identified as important parts of her experience at Lokken College.
When reviewing her program, Tsinat said: “Throughout the program, I gained hands-on experience that helped me build confidence, improve my communication skills, and develop a strong work ethic.”
The Certified Hospitality Personnel program includes career development curriculum, academic preparation to write the CAEC tests, and industry specific training. This includes emerit certifications including Front Desk Agent, Housekeeping Room Attendance, and Line Cook, as well as Food Safety, ProServe, and First Aid for Food and Beverage Server. These certifications build knowledge of industry best practices and National Occupational Standards to give learners an edge when entering the workforce.
