Cody recently completed the final phase of his Certified Hospitality Personnel program with a focus on Line Cook. During his program, Cody refined his resume and cover letter, as well as worked 1-on-1 with his instructor to improve his interviewing skills. He also completed specialized emerit Line Cook training, including passing the Line Cook Certification Exam, and prepared for and wrote his GED as part of the Lokken College curriculum.
When reflecting on his program, Cody said: “After I enrolled at Lokken though, I got training and assistance with job hunting and found a job that I actually enjoy, and I got paid to do it. I definitely recommend this to anyone who is struggling with a career change or wants find a specific job.” Congratulations on your employment, and with graduating from your Lokken College program, Cody. Learners in the Certified Hospitality Personnel (CHP) program are being certified by emerit training and certification as a Front Desk Agent, Housekeeping Room Attendant, Food and Beverage Server, or Line Cook. CHP learners are working toward the Tourism Certified Professional (TCP) designation, a credential recognized throughout the Canadian Hospitality Industry. The emerit National Professional Certification is sanctioned by Tourism HR Canada.
