Steps to Success
Adeba recently secured employment to satisfy the final phase of her 20-week Certified Hospitality Personnel program. During her program, Adeba identified an employment goal, created an action plan to reach that goal, and created an eye-catching resume and cover letter to place her above the competition when submitting resumes. She also completed a mock interview with her instructor, to gain the confidence needed to impress employers, and attended daily Career Path Management presentations to work on her employable skills, such as: Time Management, Communications, Stress Management, and more.
The Certified Hospitality Personnel program includes career development curriculum, academic preparation to write the CAEC exams, and industry specific training through emerit. Emerit certifications include Retail Training, Front Desk Agent, Housekeeping Room Attendant, and Line Cook. These courses build knowledge of industry best practices and National Occupational Standards to give learners an edge when entering the workforce.
