Tanner is pictured above proudly holding his Certified Industrial Personnel graduation certificate from Lokken College. After completing the Career Development and Academic Upgrading components of the program, he successfully secured employment as a Labourer—marking the final milestone of his 20-week journey.

Throughout the program, Tanner identified his career goals and built the tools to achieve them. He completed the Career Development curriculum, which included resume and cover letter development, mock interviews with his instructor, and daily Career Path Management workshops designed to sharpen real-world employability skills. In addition, he completed Academic Upgrading and wrote the Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC) exams, which replaced the GED in 2024.
