Talia is currently enrolled in the Certified Hospitality Personnel program with a focus on Front Desk Agent training. She has recently started her final phase of her program; Employment. To get to this step, Talia updated and improved her resume and cover letter, practiced employment interviews with her instructor, and attended Career Path Management presentations daily to build on the soft-skills that employers want. With these tools, Talia applied for a position at an organization in her community that is making a direct, positive impact on her neighbours, and she began her employment in the last half of June. Congratulations on your success, Talia! We look forward to your graduation!

Learners in the Certified Hospitality Personnel (CHP) program are being certified by emerit training and certification as a Front Desk Agent, Housekeeping Room Attendant, Food and Beverage Server, or Line Cook. CHP learners are working toward the Tourism Certified Professional (TCP) designation, a credential recognized throughout the Canadian Hospitality Industry. The emerit National Professional Certification is sanctioned by Tourism HR Canada.

Lokken College provides Career Development, Computer Training, Industry Specific Training, and Academic Upgrading in all of the programs offered.
