Throughout the program, Daisy undertook academic preparations for the GED exams, updated her resume and cover letter, and honed her interviewing skills with direct assistance from her instructor. Additionally, she successfully completed emerit training in her chosen hospitality field. Equipped with this comprehensive preparation, Daisy secured a position as an Office Assistant with the Institute for the Advancement of Aboriginal Women, marking the final phase of her program and a continuation into permanent employment.

The Certified Hospitality Personnel program includes career development curriculum, academic preparation to write the GED exams, and industry specific training through emerit. Emerit certifications include Retail Training, Front Desk Agent, Housekeeping Room Attendant, Line Cook, and Food and Beverage Server. These courses build knowledge of industry best practices and National Occupational Standards to give learners an edge when entering the workforce.
