Our Retail/Hospitality Training will help you start a rewarding career.

This training will:

Expand your ability to find and retain work.
Help you market yourself to employers.
Provide the training required for today’s retail and hospitality employment.
Provide a Retail, Accommodation, or Food Services work internship.
Help you find full time Retail/Hospitality employment.
Provide ongoing employment support and counseling for six (6) months after you graduate.

JR - Job Retention: 34.5 Hours

Job Retention develops the skills needed to maintain employment and take advantage of opportunities for career advancement that arise from employment. After completing JR, you will to:

  • demonstrate the ability to meet employers’ expectations
  • make positive changes in employment
  • contributing to a positive workplace
  • meet your expectations as an employee
  • describe your rights and responsibilities in the Alberta workplace

CS - Customer Service: 6 hours

Customer Service training defines customers traditionally as consumers of business products and services as well as non-traditionally as supervisors, colleagues, and coworkers within an organization. Customer Service is premised on the assumptions that:
  1. Everyone in a business should view themselves as customer service ambassadors for their business.
  2. Successful repeat sales are the outcome of well-delivered customer service.

IW - Integrated Work Internship: 200 Hours**

IW-01 Week 1
IW-02 Week 2

FW - Follow Up

FW-01 Three (3) months after graduation
FW-02 Six (6) months after graduation
