Red Deer Works will help you create an employment plan to meet your individual career needs.
Take the first step by selecting the right training to start (or change) your career.
- Full-Time and Part-Time training provides a structured learning environment, with daily training activities in a work-like setting. Full-time learners attend training at least 25 hours per week over a maximum of 9 weeks. Part-time learners prefer flexible training hours to accommodate other commitments and attend training for a maximum of 24 hours per week.
Select this choice if you:
- Prefer a structured learning environment
- Are available to attend training during "normal" business hours
- Need labour market tools such as a resumé, cover letter, computer skills training, basic interview preparation; a basic career plan, etc.
- Have difficulty finding or keeping a job.

- Casual learners build an independent employment plan. Training for Casual learners is delivered daily in Red Deer to provide maximum flexibility for independent learners. Select this choice if you:
- Prefer a flexible learning plan
