Youth Connections
Lokken Career Training is pleased to provide Mobile service delivery for Youth Connections in Area West. Youth Connections is a Career Resource program sponsored by Alberta Employment, and Immigration (AE&I). The free program provides youth with career counselling services, work exploration opportunities (e.g. job shadowing, work experience, and workplace training), job search services and educational planning options. We also provide support services to parents, employers and schools.
We provide two Youth Connections vans complete with telecommunications equipment (toll-free telephone, phone, fax, high-speed internet, email, printing and copying) ensure a one stop service provision and convenient program access throughout the service area. This innovative approach to mobile delivery takes advantage of current technology to provide unique and easy program access for youth.
